Vocal Training for Singers and Speakers

I always work with the person in front of me, i.e. in a way that is specifically suited to their needs and learning style. So, if you train with me you will find that you won’t be required to follow a specific method, but rather be helped to explore what works for you and your voice. You will also understand how to monitor and work with your own voice, rather than being reliant on someone to do it for you.

It is very much a two-way process, where you will have the opportunity to feed back and play an active part in your learning. In this way you will learn powerful techniques to help you to transform your speaking or singing voice. Together we can release your unique voice, without imposing sounds that don’t reflect who you are or what you want to express. This means that you will also enhance and extend what you already do.

You can:

“I knew my voice was important in my business as I use it quite a lot being a fitness coach. I was however struggling with making my voice heard and with Anne’s help after just a few weeks, she is teaching me how to breathe properly and giving some excellent coaching on techniques to improve myself and my confidence in speaking. This is vital for me at networking events. Thanks, Anne.”

No, I work mainly with adults over 18. There may be exceptions for older teens preparing for college entry or working professionally. I can recommend colleagues mentored by me if you are looking for lessons for your child.

It depends. I usually work with professional singers, speakers and actors, but do offer speaking training to those using their voice daily in their business. I also help professional actors who may need to learn to sing.

I can help you to prepare for auditions, recitals, diplomas in Singing or Singing Teaching, speeches or presentations. I’m very happy to help you with your examination pieces should this be relevant, but I don’t make examination entries or run sessions.

Yes, please do get in touch. I currently take referrals from other voice practitioners.

Before making an initial booking I like to invite people to have a free discovery session with me so that we can chat about what you would like to do and check that my work is going to be right for you. After that you may book using my online calendar (I will give you a link) or by contacting me by email.

No, you can book 30 or 45 minutes (pro rata) if that would work better for you. We will discuss this at your first session.

No, I usually work on a consultation basis. We will chat about this in your first session and you can book according to your needs.

This depends on your individual voice and what your aims are. We will set aims and targets if we work together, to devise a programme to suit you.
